Guiding Principles
of the Women’s Ministry of Kriya Yoga Community
Together we create a sacred space for empowerment, spiritual reflection, mutual respect, and authentic connection. These guiding principles help us maintain a loving, grounded environment where each woman can grow in truth and grace.
We honor the Divine in one another.
Every woman’s journey is sacred. We meet each other with humility, reverence, and the awareness that Spirit works uniquely through each of us.
We listen to understand, not to advise.
We hold space for one another’s experiences without offering unsolicited guidance, interpretation, or correction. Our role is to witness, not to fix.
We maintain confidentiality.
What is shared in our gatherings stays within our circle, held in trust and discretion. This sacred container allows honest and vulnerable sharing.
We speak from personal experience.
We share from the “I” perspective — our own stories, insights, and lessons — rather than generalizing or teaching unless specifically invited to do so by the organization.
We cultivate inclusivity and respect.
We welcome all who come in sincerity, honoring diversity of background, belief, and life experience. We refrain from judgment, comparison, or exclusion.
We stay spiritually focused.
Our gatherings are spaces for reflection, devotion, and self-discovery — not therapy or counseling. We recognize the limits of our role and refer professional needs to qualified resources when appropriate.
We practice mindful presence.
We arrive with open hearts and quiet minds, listening deeply, avoiding side conversations or distractions, and allowing silence to be part of our communion.
We embody compassion in action.
We strive to uplift and encourage one another, remembering that kindness, patience, and empathy are forms of spiritual service.
We uphold integrity and accountability.
We respect time, commitments, and the shared energy of our gatherings, participating in ways that contribute to the group’s collective harmony.
We take responsibility for our inner growth.
We commit to self-awareness and personal accountability, recognizing that transformation begins within. We seek to understand our reactions and emotions rather than blame or project them onto others.
